Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme
Martin has recently become involved in MIDAS training for minibus drivers working for voluntary and Community organisations. This provides training for staff and volunteers in the Community transport sector. Also most Local council organisations requires prospective employees to hold a MIDAS Certificate. This Certificate is transferable between member organisations.
Passenger Assistant Training Scheme
He also became involved PATS Passenger assistant training scheme in the same year. This is to provide anyone who has care and supervision for passengers travelling by road – in cars, taxis or minibuses. The aim is to improve the safety of passengers by enhancing the skills and information for passenger assistants.
