Commercial Vehicles PCV/LGV
- Minibus category D1 up to 16 passengers
- Bus/Coach category D over 16 Passenger
- Truck/ LGV category C1 up to 7.500 KG
- Truck/LGV Rigid category C over 7.500 KG
- Truck/LGV Artic category C & E Over 7.500KG with a trailer over 750KG
To obtain the provisional licence for the above groups you must first pass a medical before applying to the DVLA for a Vocational licence.
You must then pass a theory test and hazard perception test. The theory test asks 100 multiple choice questions and you must correctly answer 85 questions.
The hazard perception test has 19 clips through the windscreen of a moving vehicle and there will be 20 scoreable moving hazards to respond to by clicking the mouse.

Training and testing will be conducted near the DSA test centres in Livingston, Glasgow or Berwick.
The driving test will last for over 1 hour and will include 5 safety check questions, a reversing exercise driving in towns, rural roads dull carriageways and motorways. Uphill starts, angle and downhill stats will also be included.
