Periodic Training
All Existing PCV drivers from September 2008 and LGV drivers from September 2009 will, within 5 years of these dates, need to complete 35 Hours of Periodic training.
Recently Mart Drive have become involved in a consortium with Pride Training UK enabling us to deliver Driver CPC training for Both LGV and PCV Drivers who require periodic training.
Mart Drive offers four 3.5 hour training modules. These modules can be doubled up in any combination that suits your driver or Company requirements, to provide a seven hour course.
Both modules may be split but must be completed within a 24 hour period; this is helpful for bus Companies as the drivers could complete modules before and after local school runs.
Evening sessions could also be arranganged. Training can be arranged at a Local Training centre or we could utilise your premises.
The four modules are:-
- Drivers Hours and Tachographs
- Eco and safe driving
- Vehicle checks
- Working with others (Customer care)
