Getting Started

If you are considering letting out your property for the first time or you are an experienced Landlord, we can help. Prior to letting out your property, we would arrange : 

  • A free property appraisal including advice on any refurbishment needed.
  • A realistic valuation on achievable rent for your property.
  • All safety checks and legislation compliance. See our minefield!
  • Explain procedures for letting and obligations of the Landlord and Tenant.
  • Arrange viewings, tenant references/guarantees, prepare Inventories.
  • Advertise the property for rent using our tried and trusted marketing methods.
  • Issue a Tenancy Agreement and Assured Short Term Tenancy (in most cases).
  • Obtain a deposit and guarantee and fully protect the deposit via Safe Deposits.
  • Notify Utility Suppliers and Local Authority of tenant details as required.
These lists are not exhaustive but provide guidance as to what is required before a Tenancy commences. A full, comprehensive guide is available from us to reflect all of the work that would be carried out. We offer a full management package or a reduced package if you prefer to maintain some level of involvement in your property.
