A late goal saw junior new boys Craigroyston held to a draw in their debut match.
Kyle Boggie almost gave them the perfect start but he shot just wide of the far post before Oliver Fleming headed wide from a good position.
These however were rare attempts on either goal but home keeper Paul Tansey was called into action midway through the half to save from David Love then Lewis McArthur headed off target as the first half ended goalless.
Ross Nisbet shot wide for Craigroyston at the start of the second half before the visitors twice came close to opening the scoring when Sean McLaughlin headed wide at the back post then McArthur shot across the face of the home goal.
Boggie shot wide for Craigroyston who should have taken the lead when a Euan Rodgers cross found the head of Chris Taylor, and when his header was saved by Jordan Hamilton the ball fell for Jack Verth who was unable to direct the ball on target but it took an excellent save from Tansey to keep the scores level.
Craigroyston thought they had won it when hesitation in the away defence saw Verth set up their substitute trialist to score but they were unable to hold on to their lead, and when they failed to clear West Calder sub Jordan Devine pounced to level, and they were given a great chance to win when Love robbed a home defender but shot over when clear on goal as each side picked up a point.
