Report from the Brechin Vics

East Craigie 3 Brechin Vics 2

Vics suffered a set back when recent signing Charlie Fertacz failed a fitness test. East Craigie were first to threaten when  Robbie saved well from a shot by McNally. East Craigie took the lead on 8 mins when Young was adjudged to have fouled the striker and a penalty kick awarded. Wilson stepped up and scored from the resultant kick. Vics were struggling to get their passing game together but came close to an equaliser when Dunn smashed a great shot from 25 yards off the crossbar. East Craigie extended their lead on 18 mins when Wilson converted at the front post from 6 yards. Young had an attempt on 24 mins but the keeper saved his free kick easily. The gusty wind was playing havoc as the teams tried to control the game and it was East Craigie who scored again when Wilson completed his hat trick from the spot after McKay had handled a cross into the box.

Half time 3-0
