Coupar Angus 0 Brechin Vics 7
Vics were back in action on Saturday when they travelled to Perthshire to meet Coupar Angus. Vics dominated proceedings from start to finish but were finding the bumpy surface difficult to master. It took Vics 32 mins to open the scoring when a Henderson free kick from the left found Mustard who headed his first goal for the club high into the roof of the net from 6 yards. This seemed to settle Vics and they came close on 38 mins but Steel's shot was saved by the keeper. Vics extended their lead on 40 mins when Henderson played in Dunn who's cross into the box found Steel who tapped in at the far post.

Vics went 3 nil up on 57 mins when the hard working Ferguson blocked a clearance from the Coupar defence and the ball fell kindly for Dunn who smashed the ball past the keeper from 10 yards. Vics fourth came on 61 mins and it was Dunn again who scored this time heading a Henderson corner into the net at the back post from 6 yards. Vics were looking dangerous with every attack but it wasn't until the 80 min mark before they added to their tally. McKay was the scorer smashing the ball past the Coupar keeper from 8 yards. Dunn completed is hat trick and Vics sixth when he converted a penalty which was awarded after the same player was tripped in the box. Dunn stepped up an placed the ball into the corner of the net giving the keeper no chance. The scoring was completed on 89 mins when an excellent move involving Mustard and Mckay gave Henderson a chance an he slotted the ball passed the keeper from 12 yards.
