Dalkeith returned to winning ways after a second half blitz of ten men Kirriemuir. The visitors cause was not helped after twenty minutes when Marc Ogg was issued a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Scott McNaughton. Dalkeith created the bulk of the chances in the first half, McNaughton hitting the post after 28 minutes with Jamie Paterson and Thomas Waters also going close with their efforts. The opening goal deservedly arrived on 50 minutes when Michael Linton cracked a low drive into the middle of the net. He doubled his tally seventeen minutes later after Scott Knox could only parry a Stephen Pudledski strike. Darren Flynn netted the third goal in injury time, as Dalkeith secured a fifth straight league victory and remain in the hunt for the Super League play-off spot.
