United grabbed a point right at the death of this goal feast encounter with Dalkeith. Fauldhouse started the game on the front foot and were well in control early on, Shaun Martin cut the ball back to Gary Shanks but his shot was saved by Kesson in the Thistle goal. The House were moving well all over the park but failed to produce where it mattered in the 18yd box. On twenty eight minutes Andy Murphy had to make a good stop from from the lively Dalkeith striker Pusledzki. Fauldhouse finally made the breakthrough when Jason Deans rose at the back post to head home in from close range... 1-0 Fauldhouse. Just before half time the game turned when Liddle latched on to a loose ball and fired past Andy Murphy to level the game at 1-1. that fired up Dalkeith and they went ahead minutes later when Pusledzki fired a fierce shot past Murphy, what a turnaround !...Half-Time...Fauldhouse Utd. 1 Dalkeith Th. 2. Into the second half and the House equalised when Kenny Martin, a second half sub for Ross Donnelly latched on to a ball spilled in a fifty -fifty clash with keeper Kesson, Kenny was first to react when he got up on his feet to stroke the ball calmly in the empty net... 2-2 .The lead was short lived only three minutes later Dalkeith were ahead again when Pusledzki slotted home his second to take the lead once again... 2-3. With just over an hour on the clock it got worse Thistle stretched their lead when Hunter was unmarked to head home a free kick... Fauldhouse Utd... 2 Dalkeith Th...4. The House were in trouble and in true form they rallied and with twenty minutes to go Shaun Martin got one back when he fired in off the post and right back in the game at 3-4. The House kept up the pressure and finally got their reward right at the end when Kesson fluffed a cross ball which dropped on Kenny Martins head and the king duly nodded the ball over the line for dramatic equaliser !...final score Fauldhouse United...4 Dalkeith Thistle...4. A great point taken in a game which we never really showed what we are capable off , although a heavy pitch contibuted to that in some way.
