Report from Fauldhouse United

The House March On !

The House gained another three points at Parkview against Dundee Violet keeping us at the top of the Premier League. After a bright start Fauldhouse went ahead in seven minutes when a great delivery from a Gary Shanks free Kick was met by big Jamie Gallagher, his header flashed past the Violet keeper... 1-0 Fauldhouse.  The House took command now having had all the pressure up till now. Thirteen minutes Ross Donnelly was pulled down in the box, Shanksy depatched the resulting penalty kick past the keeper... 2-0 Fauldhouse. It was all one way traffic now, eighteen minutes the keeper made a good point blank save from a Ross Donnelly strike to keep the score down and five minutes later Adam Fairweather fired a cracking shot which beat the keeper all ends up but struck the crossbar...Half time, Fauldhouse United..2 Dundee Violet..0. Into the second half and early in Ross Donnelly went close forcing another good save from the busy Violet keeper. The House seemed to have done enough to win this game and sat back and the game became a bit of a midfield battle with little or no chances being created until the seventy fifth minute when Adam Fairweather headed the ball in at the back post to wrap up the win... 3-0 for Fauldhouse all in all the job was done without the flair of last week but another three points gained nevertheless as we march on.
