Back on track.

The House collected their first Premier League win against local rivals Livingston United in their fourth start at Parkview. Fauldhouse went ahead in only six minutes when Tully brought down Ross Donnelly in the box  Kenny Martin made no mistake and hammered the ball past Dolan... 1-0 Fauldhouse. A hard encounter as you would expect in a local derby with both teams giving their all, Shaun Martin went close and should have scored in fourteen minutes however he put his shot over the crossbar. With a quarter of the game gone Livingston levelled the scoring through Gourley who fired past young Calum from close in... 1-1. The House got their second goal of the afternoon, Michael Mccormack fired a shot which was deflected out for a corner kick and from the resulting corner Jason Deans connected to the ball with his head-chest-leg no matter the ball crossed the line to nestle in the back of the net... 2-1 Fauldhouse. Minutes later Rees Smith had a good effort that went norrowly over the crossbarand just before the break Michael Mccormack shot from 20yrds but the ball flew past passed the upright as we turned the screw...Half-Time Fauldhouse Utd. 2  Livingston United 1. The second half got underway with the same commitment from both sides. Michael Browne had a good effort in five minutes in he chipped Dolan but the ball came back off the crossbar. Peace in the Fauldhouse goal was tested on the hour mark with a shot from Murphy which the young stand in keeper saved well. The House kept pushing to make sure of the points and Dolan made a good stop from Chilton with ten minutes to go. The last piece of action as we headed for the final whistle was a silky run from Shaun Martin but in the end his goalbound effort was deflected wide...Final score Fauldhouse United 2 Livingston United 1.  A good three points for The House as we find our feet in the Premier and a good strong performance from Jason Deans.
